- Their “experts” are bad, and they should feel bad. They told Romney he was winning when he was losing. They told him the economy would sink Obama, it didn't. They told him the people want to go back in time...to the 'good ol' days,' we don't. In short these so-called experts had no idea what the American people wanted and the election proved it.
- They encourage, rather than stifle, their cranks, cretins, God-bothering Bible-thumpers and raging assholes. They simply didn't understand that we Americans are not all WASPs and "Christian" snake handlers who believe the Bible should be taken literally including the Old Testament. I emphasized Christian, because there probably wasn't three 'real' Christians in the bunch.
- Republicans do not like–and thus refuse to believe–facts. Charles Darwin was rolling over in his grave during this election. The GOP simply could not believe any fact that didn't agree with their skewed ideation. They simply continued on their way without any understanding of what was really going on in this nation. They deserved to lose this election...and they did.
- Insulting fellow Americans while demonstrating ignorance about fiscal issues. They, the GOP and Romneyites, actually believe we are fiscal idiots. They seemed to think we forgot Dubya and the 4 trillion dollars debt he left this president. They seemed to think we forgot the Iraq war where Dubya blew Billions upon Billions of dollars on a war that didn't need to be fought in the first place.
I wrote back in July that the GOP stood no chance of winning this election. All you had to do was look at who they thought should run against Barack Obama: Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Fred Thompson, Rick Perry, Jon Huntsman, Michele Bachman, Herman Cain. How in the world, with this cast of characters--losers, could the GOP take over the White House? And, out of all these people, who did the Republican Party choose to run against Barack? Willard Mitt Romney!
As a Liberal, all I can say is Thank You Very Much GOP.
