Why did Obama Win? Why did Romney lose? Here are some answers.
Well now, Republicans, instead of doing some soul searching, are blaming
everybody else for their failures. That will surely be productive,
perhaps they ought to take some personal responsibility. Never mind.
So let's look at the claims:
The media selectively reported Romney's gaffes - Never mind Faux being a 24/7 tape loop of every little comment. But here's the thing:
Your candidate said a lot of really dum3 stuff along with others like Akin. Could it be perhaps that the GOP actually had more gaffes?
Fact-checkers were biased - Yes, reality has a well established liberal bias. How about you stop making stuff up instead of blaming the 'fact checkers'?
Hurricane Isaac hit the Tampa convention - Yes, blame the weather, not Eastwood and a parade of hate filled rantings the convention was.
Romney was too nice -
Yes, the party that has spent years accusing the President of being a
Kenyan born Muslim is 'too nice'. That's why Romney waited till 1 minute
after 9// to politicize the embassy attacks.
Hurricane Sandy and Chris Christie get the blame - Again with the weather. Christie and Obama gained respect for doing their jobs. Romney did his job: create a staged photo op.
Romney wasn’t conservative enough -
After their numerous attempts at photoID to block millions of votes,
they're now upset that one black guy was opening doors for old ladies in
Philly. I think it's less about suppression of votes than their efforts
to suppress Democrat votes. It backfired on them badly.
Americans are basically ignorant -
Yet demographics show the higher the education, the more likely a
Democrat vote. The GOP ought to be careful about education if they want
to peddle paying for 5T in tax cuts with 2T in loopholes.
Liberals bought the election - Yes, $700mm is clearly less than 300mm. See point above.
Obama was backed by the 47 percent - Actually it was 52% and if you look at the map, all the densely populated productive drivers of the economy.
America’s white establishment is now a minority -
Yes, they are. And guess what, women vote too! The GOP's ancient views
of old white men are long past expiration date. Change or
become irrelevant.
But the real reason is simple: Nobody forgot
the policies and people that created the hole we're in. Nobody missed
your attempt to block all efforts to fix things. Your policies, ideas
and candidates are ancient, proven to be wrong and offensive.
You
have a choice: Double down on anti-women, anti-intellectual,
anti-everything rhetoric make your party a permanent minority or kick
out extremists and bring the party back to what it once was, a place
where people with ideas and brains could exist.
